Little Bit of Italy fundraiser success

01 June, 2018

SUPPORT: Quentin Robertson and Jenny Westrup from Casa e Cucina Glassware and Kay Sullivan, Singleton Cancer Appeal Commitee with Broke Fordwich Wine and Tourism Association members Wendy Lawson, Barb Brown and Ken McCraw.

It was smiles all round when Singleton Cancer Appeal Committee, president, Kay Sullivan accepted a donation from the Broke Fordwich Wine and Tourism Association for $3226 to fund her organisation’s vital work in providing facilities and services for cancer patients at Singleton Hospital.

And there was more with Sydney based glass wholesaler Case e Cucina principals Quentin Robertson and Jenny Westrup on hand to donate a further $200 to the Committtee.

Casa e Cucina had also supported the fundraiser by the Broke Fordwich group by providing the glassware used at the Little Bit of Italy weekend at a discounted rate to ensure maximum monies were raised for the Committee.

“We gave $2 from each glass of wine sold to the Singleton Cancer Appeal Committee and glasses were sold during the weekend and they were included in the Committee’s raffle so we are very grateful to Case e Cucina for their support,” said Barb Brown, Ascella Wines, Milbrodale.
